"You are the total of your talking yesterday"

"I don't sing those songs anymore, like Born to Lose and of the life before.

What we say is what we get for sure." (1)

The Bible begins with an emphasis on WORDS, yet most people just don't realize it. In Genesis, the first book of the Bible, in the first chapter "God Said" 10 Times. In the Old Testament there are 476 verses where "God Said." This includes from creating our sun to the creation of man, to giving us dominion over the earth. In the New Testament the word "said" shows up over a thousand times. God puts great emphasis on words, from "God said let there be light, and there was light," to "For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart but shall believe that those things which he says shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he says. (Mark 11:23)

Of course, if you are not Born Again you are not going to understand, nor be able to effectively put this into action. (John 3:3) Jesus answered and said unto him Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again he cannot see (understand) the kingdom of God.
Apostle Peter writes: (1st. Peter 1:23) Being born again ...by the word of God. Jesus said in John 3:7 "Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again."

Romans 10:9 says, That if thou shall confess with thy mouth (your words again) the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart (your innermost man, or spirit) that God has raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved. The word “repent” gets thrown about by some “Christians” and really scares a lot of people, but it just means, “to think differently or afterwards, that is, to reconsider, and morally to feel compunction.”  Speaking of scaring people, how many times have you been hammered with the word “sin”? Most of the people that throw it around do not have any clue what the word means. Actually, the word has roots in the Greek language. If an archer drew back his bow and let the arrow fly, missing the target he would say, “I have sinned” meaning “I have missed the mark.” God has put out there certain marks, targets, and goals He wants us to hit. Are we going to hit them the first time or every time? Only when newborns stop messing their pants. The man or woman that has answered the call when the Holy Spirit said “come” will still make mistakes and when he does, he prays, and then walks on righteously. Your relationship with God is a growing thing, and has stages just as our lives have in the natural world.

When you make the decision to accept Jesus Christ as Lord, Teacher, and Master of your life, and really mean it, you will know. Things will just be different, the air will smell different, trees will become more beautiful, and the Bible, the living Word of God will become meaningful and understandable. There will be a few people who will not like you anymore, because (without a conscious effort) you become a mirror they can see themselves in, and they don’t like what they see. They believe it is you fault. Just keep loving them the best you know how, keep praying for them, and you keep growing in the Word.

Rom 10:10 - For with the heart, the spirit, man believes unto righteousness (that just means “right standing”); and with the mouth (there’s words again) confession (speaking out) is made unto salvation. Salvation is described with the Greek word: soteria, meaning to rescue or deliver. Soteria includes health, healing and our salvation.

How many times have you heard, or said your self, "my cold is getting worse" or "my cancer"? Is it yours? Are you using your own words to condemn yourself to sickness and disease?
